Meridian Mississippi Engagement Photography- Eric and Deanna
Finding the PERFECT location for your engagement shoot can be quite challenging. Most couples seek to find a place that's either unique, historic, or somehow symbolic to their relationship; whether it's the school they both attended, the place where they first met, or their favorite past time as a couple. Remember, photos are forever, so choose a location that will bring a smile to your face for years to come.
Welcome to the Grand Oak Bluegrass/Gospel Hall in Meridian Mississippi! This music and fellowship venue is not only owned by the brides father Larry Wilson, but also happens to be the place where Eric proposed to Deanna back in September of 2010. These two will marry here in June of 2011. How perfect!
Highlights from this shoot include photos around the Gospel Hall as well as the quaint country general store and a BEAUTIFUL sunset on a hill right next to Deanna's house. Enjoy!

Botanical Gardens Alabama Engagement Session- Kafa & Samantha
Congratulations to Kafa and Samantha! We were super excited to finally meet this fantastic couple for the first time at the lovely Botanical Gardens in Birmingham Alabama. The garden is Alabama's largest living museum with more than 10,000 different plants in its living collections. This organic setting was the perfect location for a beautiful outdoor engagement session.
The couple arrived looking absolutely STUNNING! They came prepared with three different outfit changes and a "just have fun" type of attitude. From the stories they shared about their upcoming fabulous May wedding, we can't wait to be a part of the celebration. Thank you Kafa and Samantha for choosing us to capture your special day!
Are you newly engaged and planning an engagement photo shoot? Here are a few tips from Kafa and Samantha's session.
1. Choose a location that's fun, unique and offers a variety of different areas for great images! Ask your photographer for suggestions or browse around the internet for location ideas.
2. Bring a few different outfit changes. Even if you don't use them all, its great to have options!
3. Relax and give the camera your attention every once and a while. Remember, this moment is about capturing the two of you interacting as a couple, so act as natural as possible.
4. HAVE FUN! Try to find a healthy balance between posing and letting the camera see the true intimacy and/or fun energy that represents your relationship.

Should your wedding photography package include an album?
With so many packages and a la carte options to choose from, we decided to survey a few of our 2010 brides to find out what they considered to be the "essentials" when it came to choosing their wedding photography package. While many added on additional products like "The Wedding Day Image Disc" and "The Reception Photo Booth", most felt the basics included: a full day of coverage and a basic wedding album to preserve the memories captured during their special day. What better way to recap the days events for years to come than a personalized book telling your story from beginning to end.
So, should your wedding photography package include an album? Absolutely! If your package does not include the album, just make sure you have the option to purchase one in addition to your contracted wedding package. While many programs offer DIY options to designing your own wedding album, let your photographer design a professional customized layout that's distinctive and unique.
Check out a few samples of our large, 20 page, 12x12 Flush Mount Album! OOH-La-La! This album features a high-gloss hard cover with wrap around printing and vividly colored photos, all printed on super thick pages. This album will make a great addition to your coffee table and is a great way to share your incredible wedding day with friends and family.
Additional pages can be added upon request. This basic album is included in every package with packages starting @ $2,200.

Nashville Bridal Shows "UNVEILED" by Lifestyles Magazine
We would like to give a special thanks to Nashville Lifestyles Magazine for inviting Wedlock Images to participate in their 4th annual bridal show! “UNVEILED” was held on Thursday February 3, 2011 at aVenue in downtown Nashville. Unlike your traditional bridal show, guest and vendors enjoyed an elegant intimate evening of champagne and delicious hors d’oeuvres as they browsed the booths of some of Nashville’s most prestigious wedding vendors.
If you’re a bride looking for a classy event with the most reputable vendors, we certainly recommend attending one of their bridal shows or picking up a copy of their magazine “Nashville Lifestyles Wedding”!
Here’s a list of some of the vendors we had the pleasure of personally meeting:
Wedding Planners
Wedding Guides
Hair and Make-up
Stationary
Reception Venues
Other vendors included: Hutton Hotel, Union Station, The White Room, You're Invited, Loews Vanderbilt, Premiere Event, Governors Club, Opulent Skincare, B. Hughes, Registry, Ibiza Fine Gifts, Mill at Lebanon, OSHi Flowers, Chase River Flair, National Dance Clubs, Hilton Nashville Downtown, Country Music Hall of Fame, Sunset Grill, You're Invited, The Dotted Line, King Jewelers, Stoveworks, Virago, Giovanni’s, and tasted fabulous cake bites by Jay from TLC’s Next Great Baker, and owner of Maples Wedding Cakes.

Austin Texas Wedding Photography - Matt and Gloria
On December 11th 2010, our new friends Matt and Gloria said their "I Do's" at Vintage Villas Resort in beautiful Austin Texas. Resting on 6 acres of land and overlooking Lake Travis, the venue was not only gorgeous, but offered one of the prettiest sunsets we've ever seen.
Aside from the sheer beauty of the location, the couples tasteful and elegant choice of decor made this event unique and even more memorable. From accessories to the bridal bouquet, we made sure we captured every wonderful little detail. Our favorite... the blue satin shoes!
A stunning bride and a handsome groom. These guys are amazing! We knew we'd have a blast shooting the wedding and certainly want to thank them for inviting us to join in the weekend fun with friends and family.
